Environmental Stewardship and Farm Environment PlansOur expertise in the Countryside Stewardship Scheme spans nearly ten years. The new Environmental Stewardship Schemes include the Entry Level Scheme, Uplands Entry Level Scheme, Organic Entry Level Scheme, and the Higher Level Scheme. Our work with the schemes encompasses applications, surveys, management plans, amendments and agreement management, monitoring and evaluation.
The 'Higher Level Scheme', or HLS, is complex, so a payment is available to applicants in order for them to employ consultants to do much of the work. We produce the Farm Environment Plan (or FEP) which is required for all applications. We also create Management Plans for capital works such as bracken control.
